A single large fixed glass panel for an open, doorless walk-in shower with a calm, spa-like look.
A walk-in shower has no door. A large fixed panel, often called a splash panel, blocks most of the spray while leaving a wide open entry. The look is clean and simple, and it is easy to enter and clean. The design depends on size and layout: the shower should be long and deep enough that water stays in, and the shower head should be positioned away from the opening.
We measure the shower and talk with you about the fixture locations, the floor slope and the width of the entry. Then we choose the panel width, height and glass thickness, and plan wall channels or clamps and a floor channel or a wall-mounted support bar. Glass is made to size, and we set it level and plumb with a small seal where needed.
Wider panels block more water. We size the glass with your shower head position and the room layout in mind.
A panel can be held with wall clamps, a floor channel or a ceiling or wall support bar. We choose the style that fits your tile and your design.
Walk-in showers work best when the head is placed away from the entry. We give honest advice on how much open space your layout can handle.
Few parts and little hardware make the look calm and the cleaning easy.
A wide entry is easy to step through without a door.
One large panel lets the tile and the room shine.
No door, track or frame to wipe around.
We size the panel to your layout and fixtures.
Clamps, channels or support bars hold the glass firmly.
We choose glass thickness for the height and width.

It can if the shower is small or the head faces the opening. A well-placed head, a sloped floor and a wide enough panel keep most water inside.
Often about twenty-four to thirty-six inches, or wider for larger showers. We recommend based on your layout.
Three-eighths or half an inch is common, depending on the panel size.
Yes. We can often replace a door with a fixed panel or add a panel to an open shower.
An open entry with no door can be easier to use. We can discuss the layout with you.
