Made-to-measure glass for unusual sizes, angled walls, steam rooms and designer layouts.
Not every shower is a standard rectangle. Slanted ceilings, angled walls, large benches, double entries and showers set under stairs all call for custom glass. A custom enclosure is designed from your measurements and drawings, then cut, polished and tempered to fit. It takes a little more planning than a standard door, and the payoff is a shower that looks like it was built around the glass.
We take measurements of every wall, the ceiling and the floor, and we make templates when the shapes are unusual. We then develop a design, sometimes with a simple sketch, that shows panel sizes, door position, hardware and how everything fits together. After you approve it, we order the glass, fabricate to size and install with the hardware and finish you chose.
For angled walls or unusual shapes we make templates and drawings so the glass fits the opening exactly.
Slanted ceilings and odd corners are handled with angled cuts and custom panels, and we explain how edges and seals will look.
Low-iron clear glass, frosted or textured panels and tinted glass can be added to a design for style or privacy.
Hinges, clamps, handles and support bars are chosen to match the design and carry the glass safely.
Angled, curved or oversized layouts can be handled with custom glass.
You see panel sizes and hardware in writing before we order.
Templates make odd shapes fit cleanly.
Clear, low-iron, frosted or tinted glass can be specified.
Match hardware to faucets, lights and mirrors.
Heavy custom panels are handled with proper lifting equipment.
