Glass Size and Weight Planner

Enter the width, height and thickness of a panel to see its area and approximate weight, plus handling and hardware notes.

These tools give planning-level estimates from typical values and the details you enter. They are not quotes or engineering or safety advice, and results depend on your actual glass, its condition, products and local rules. Only a visit can confirm what a project needs, and we give you a written estimate before anything is ordered.

How it works

Tips

  • Weigh the glass against the rating of every hinge, clamp or bracket.
  • Large panels need two or more people and suction lifters.
  • Tempered glass cannot be cut after it is made, so measure carefully.
