Bypass glass doors that glide along a track, ideal for tubs and tight bathrooms where a swinging door will not fit.
Sliding bypass doors are the workhorse of tub and shower combinations. Two panels pass each other on rollers, so no floor space is needed for a swing. They are available in framed, semi-frameless and fully frameless versions, in clear, frosted and textured glass, and with several hardware finishes. They are easy to use, simple to replace and well suited to bathrooms where space is tight.
We measure the opening between the walls and the height from the tub or curb, then recommend a design that fits both your budget and your bathroom. We set the top and bottom track, level it and hang the panels with rollers that match the weight. Seals along the edges keep water in, and we adjust the rollers so the doors glide with a light touch and close firmly.
A level, well-anchored track and quality rollers are the heart of a good slider. We check both and replace worn parts during the install.
Bypass doors use two panels. We explain which opens where and how that affects reaching the fixtures or stepping out.
Clear, frosted, rain and textured glass pair with frames in silver, nickel, black, bronze and white, so the door fits your style.
Sweeps and seals help keep water in the tub, and we show you how to lift the panels off the track to clean them.
Panels slide past each other, so the door fits tight rooms.
Framed, semi-frameless and frameless sliders are available.
Rollers and tracks are set so the panels move easily.
We locate studs and use the right anchors for tile and tubs.
Seals and sweeps reduce leaks at the sides and bottom.
Rollers, seals and handles can be replaced if they wear.
