Tall wall mirrors for bedrooms, entries and dressing areas, leaned or securely mounted.
A tall mirror does a lot of work in a home. In a bedroom or dressing area it lets you see your whole outfit, in an entry it adds depth, and in a living space it brings light across the room. Because tall mirrors are heavy and can fall if they are not secured, the way they are mounted matters as much as the size. We cut and set full-length and wall mirrors so they look good and stay safe.
We discuss where the mirror will go and whether it will lean, hang or be fixed to the wall. We measure the height and width, consider the floor and baseboards and choose the edge style. We then cut and finish the glass and install it with the right brackets, clips and anchors, tying leaning mirrors back to the wall so they cannot tip.
A leaning mirror is easy and casual but must be anchored to prevent tipping. A fixed mirror is mounted flat for a built-in look.
Tall mirrors are heavy. We use anchors suited to your wall, find studs where possible and check the weight before we mount.
Polished or beveled edges and clear or tinted glass change the look. We bring samples so you can see them in your light.
Baseboards, uneven walls and flooring all affect fit. We account for them when we plan the bottom and sides.
